Sometimes I forget how quickly advent comes and goes every year. This year our family is really trying to keep Christmas simple. All of the girls are getting into the spirit too(even with the lack of snow:). Today we made homemade Cinnamon ornaments.
They were really easy to make and smell amazing.
Cinnamon Dough Ornaments
1 cup of cinnamon
1 Tbsp of nutmeg
1 Tbsp of cloves
3/4 cup apple sauce
2 Tbsp of glue
Mix and roll out. cut into shapes. Don't forget to take a straw and make a hole at the top for the ribbon to go through. They said to air dry for a couple of days but we bakes them at 200* for 2 1/2 hrs. The house smelt amazing:)
Now to finish a few projects here and then I am going to do some Christmas shopping/grocery shopping while Charlotte and Anne go to cake decorating with some friends:)
